Baldwin Homes uses Pella windows and doors for Crabtree Estate renovation

Published on

Pella Windows and Doors / KC Company and Baldwin Homes, two leading names in the Maryland home construction and remodeling industry, have teamed up to renovate Crabtree Estate. This local landmark home sits on the bank of the Severn River in Annapolis, MD. K.C.'s Trade Representative, Concetta Sipes, partnered with Mike Baldwin of Baldwin Homes to rejuvenate this outdated waterfront home.

“This was a labor of love for each company”, said KC Company’s Sipes. “The great working relationship we had on this important job reflects the high standards and commitment we have when working with all construction companies and architects.” In regard to responsibilities, Baldwin Homes restored the exterior of the home while Pella updated all of the windows and doors on the property. The homeowner and Baldwin chose to use a Hardie plank siding for longevity of the exterior of the home that is storm resistant with a lasting finish.

Window styles selected included double hung and casements from the Pella Wood 450 Series with a Poplar White exterior aluminum clad color. The patio doors were also exchanged using Pella's Architect Series French Patio doors  to enhance the view of the river and keep the wood look consistent throughout the home.
